About the Author
J.D. Dennis, a true "SoCal Southern Gal" with a heart full of faith and joy. To some, she is Mrs. Dot, to others Ms. Janis, but her favorite is "Noni"- exclusively reserved for her grandbabies. Raised in the South and now calling Southern California home, she blends Southern charm with West Coast Sparkle. She has dedicated her life to uplifting and encouraging God's people through thirty years of worship, more than half as a worship leader, twenty-plus years as a small/home group, and life group leader. She has served and currently serves as a leader of her church's women's ministry, and is a member of the tech team, which she absolutely loves. She has four years of Bible college experience and is working to complete her master's degree in Psychology, a personal dream of hers. She was trained in the SOZO ministry under Bethel Church, so she loves and understands spiritual freedom!
She is a passionate foodie, HGTV enthusiast, Marvel fan, and a lover of music. J. D. lives life with purpose and creativity. One of her greatest joys comes from helping others discover their God-given worth and potential. With a deep love for the Lord, the Bible, the church, and her family and friends, she writes with warmth, wisdom, and a whole lot of heart.
I'm Just Sayin'
Just like Life, God reveals different aspects of who He is, if you allow Him in. Worship is not ever just about a song you sing, but the life we live, and surrender to Christ. So then came my blog, out of obedience and acknowledging the different aspects of who I am. My blog, "I'm Just Sayin", was birthed from wanting to share those different perspectives, thoughts, and poetic expressions that God has placed on my heart. I invite you to dive into it and listen for the Father's heart in the way he's allowed me to use in this blog.

This book is like sitting on the couch with a good friend discussing everything life has thrown at us and being comforted knowing that God still loves us and is always here, waiting for me to crawl in his lap. It is written plainly from the heart with raw emotion and honesty. I like that the stories (MINIs as they are called) are only a few pages so I can pick it up and read of them when I may have only a few minutes.

This reminds me of how Chicken Soup For The Soul made me look at myself and others through a different lens for a healthier relationship, this does the same only a real honest look at that relationship with God. Simply a powerful revelation. A must read
